Most tragically, it is the day that the Punk Rock Gods took Joey Ramone to Punk Rock Heaven.

Every year, we mark Joey's deathversary with a tribute show. Bands playing the music of the Ramones, songs about the Ramones and a little bit of the Ramones themselves. Consider it something of a wake, wherein we recognize the loss of an icon by celebrating his life and work.
